Doris Lurie Chesky papers
The collection consists of three bound manuscripts that document some of the activities of Doris Lurie Chesky, vocal music teacher at Alcee Fortier High School, New Orleans, during the middle of the twentieth century. There are letters regarding special personal sick leave, a proposed program about improving human relations for teachers and students, and a pageant written by Chesky.

Louis Panzeri papers
The collection consists of research notes Louis Panzeri (1902-1983) used for his book, Louisiana Composers; programs and brochures; music associations material; and early letters on musical subjects. Panzeri, a music teacher and voice coach in New Orleans, collected Louis Moreau Gottschalk correspondence, mementoes, and newspaper clippings, which are also included. There are obituaries of other musicians as well as a photograph of the choir at St. Patrick's Church, New Orleans.
