The collection is made up of genealogies, documents, correspondence, and memorabilia of the Claudius Belden Churchill family and its ancestry. There are also family trees of related families, including the Thorn, Holliday, Groot, and other families. The collection also includes a facsimile of a letter from Winston Churchill and several eighteenth century deeds.
The records of the Baptist Church at Fort Adams, Mississippi, formerly the Pinckneyville Baptist Church. Includes: articles of church doctrine, church covenant, conference minutes, copy of deed of church property, rules of church government and a list of members.
The collection consists of copies of correspondence (1788-1818) and two original land transactions (1818-1819) involving James Wilkinson (1757-1825). Wilkinson was governor of the Louisiana Territory in 1805. He was also known to be involved in what was known as the "Burr Conspiracy." Correspondents include George Washington, Juan Ventura Morales, Thomas Jefferson, and W.C.C. Claiborne.

The collection consists of land title abstracts from the Security Building and Loan Association, primarily for the Sixth and Seventh Districts of Orleans Parish and Jefferson Parish. In addition, there are some title abstracts for land in St. Bernard Parish, St. Mary Parish, St. Tammany Parish, Plaquemines Parish, and Acadia Parish.
