Scope and Contents

This collection of drawings from New Orleans architect Albert Bendernagel, Sr. (1876-1952)'s office, as well as those from partnerships with Emile Weil and John Cazale, includes project drawings, landscape drawings, fantasy architectural drawings, and drawings made during Bendernagel's travels. Projects included educational, religious, and residential commissions, done in New Orleans and throughout Louisiana.

Scope and Contents

This collecion includes project drawings (mostly copy prints) from the office of New Orleans architect Philip Peter Cazale (1892-1975) and from his collaborations with Albert Bendernagel, Sr. and Robert W. Layer. Cazale was architect of many New Orleans Catholic churches and schools, and did alterations to the Falstaff Brewery in New Orleans. Drawings for St. Joseph’s Church and Sanctuary in St. Benedict, Louisiana by architect Theodore Brune are also maintained.
