Scope and Contents The Alice Katz family papers consists primarily of correspondence between Alice Katz and members of her family during the 1950s. The collection also includes travel brochures, ticket stubs, menus, and other memorabilia of the family's voyages. There are also clippings and pamphlets regarding Alice Katz and her family's involvement in the New Orleans chapter of B'nai B'rith and with the Jewish Community Center.

Scope and Contents This collection consists of the financial and legal records of the Jewish Children's Home of New Orleans, Louisiana, as well as correspondence, printed material, reports, Alumni Association documents, video and audio tapes. Included are issues of Golden City messenger, called the "official organ of the Jewish Children's Home." Founding records (1855-1939) were sent in 1948 by the by the directors and board of the Jewish Childrens Home to the American Jewish Archives. Early materials remaining...
