The collection consists of correspondence (1936-1938) dealing mainly with finances, bills and receipts, cash and checkbooks, lists of participants and subscribers, programs, tickets, prompt scripts, newspaper clippings, and one photograph. The programs include those from the Children's Theatre Guild, Experimental Theatre, Modern Film Society, and Le Petit Theatre.

The collection contains scrapbooks, correspondence, playbills, broadsides, autographs, news clippings, photographs, programs, property plots, and telegrams related to the performing arts, mainly in New Orleans. One scrapbook covers New Orleans theater exclusively, another was compiled by Albert Valentine Veazie, another by Isaac Heller, and finally there is a copy of a "Kind Sir" world premier broadside.

Scope and Contents Rosalie Allen worked for the Army Signal Corps Photographic Laboratory before and during World War II. A large section of the collection is devoted to photographs with typed captions, many of them public relations images produced by the United States Army during World War II.
