Broadside, printed on both sides, describing the geography and the agricultural, economic and climatic conditions in the parishes of St. Landry, Lafayette, Vermillion, St. Martin, Iberia, and St. Mary, written by Daniel Dennett. Also included is a copy of Hardee's 1870's map of the Attakapas region and St. Landry Parish.

The collection consists of genealogical materials about the St. Omar and St. Amant families, which lived in France and Spain before settling in Louisiana. Most of the documents in the collection are photocopies and relate to the two families, other familial connections, and their influence on Louisiana history, especially New Orleans. Materials include lists of barons, articles, coats of arms, nobility records, lists of names, a baptism certificate, a will, correspondence, and maps.

A 24 page stapled booklet describing winter cruise tours from the US to Mexico and Central America. Cruises depart from Chicago, Tucson and San Francisco and includes travel by rail and mail steamer to a variety of countries including Mexico, Guatemala, El Salvador, Cuba, Panama, and Colombia. Several itineraries and costs per person are listed, along with black and white photographs of the cities visited.
