This collection consists of personal and professional correspondence, biographical information, scores, music manuscripts, concert programs, handwritten and typed notes, printed material, and clippings regarding the life and career of music professor and composer, Giuseppe Ferrata. Ferrata founded the Newcomb College Piano Department in 1909 and taught there until his death in 1928.
