This collection consists of correspondence of Andrew Hynes while serving with Tennessee troops in the Battle of New Orleans campaign. The correspondence from Nashville mentions business, political and military affairs. Main correspondents represented in the collection include Willie Blount, Thomas Fletcher and William Hynes. Also included are printed orders, broadsides, roster of officers of the Tennessee army and map of the battlefield of the Battle of New Orleans during the War of 1812.
