The collection includes records of the Kottwitz Advertising Company founded by Robert A. Kottwitz, Jr. Materials include advertising graphics for political candidates in the form of posters, photographs (including some of Saints players Jim Garcia and Obert Loga), and film strips. There are also examples of commercial advertising for campaigns such as the Mattel Toy Company, Higgins Flooring, and Willowdale Homes.

Scope and Contents

The collection is made up of the business files of the Radlauer and Caire Advertising Agency.  Clients included Higgins Boats, the Port of Gulfport, the New Orleans International Airport, and Walker Roemer Milk. The agency also did advertising for political campaigns, working on Sam Jones' campaign for governor, Russell Long's re-election campaign for United States Senator, and Victor Schiro's campaign for mayor of New Orleans.
