Conditions Governing Use

Biographical / Historical
Sarah Doerries (1920-2013) was an author of poetry and prose, and was actively involved in publication in both New Orleans and Cincinnati. She worked intensively with Newcomb Tulane College, where she was able to write and teach at the college. She became a publisher and editor, working for top publishing houses. Notebly she worked for The Southern Review and the Historic New Orleans Collection.
Her collection archived here include manuscripts and annotated poetry. As an active editor and writer, Sarah contributed to the art community of New Orelans and Cincinnati alike.
