Scope and Contents The Alice Katz family papers consists primarily of correspondence between Alice Katz and members of her family during the 1950s. The collection also includes travel brochures, ticket stubs, menus, and other memorabilia of the family's voyages. There are also clippings and pamphlets regarding Alice Katz and her family's involvement in the New Orleans chapter of B'nai B'rith and with the Jewish Community Center.

Scope and Contents The Aline Richter Stevens papers include photographs, clippings, and programs pertaining to the life, education, and acting career of Aline Richards. Scope and Contents This collection consists of the writings, correspondence, typescripts and photographs of Carmelite Janvier. The records document Janvier’s work and scholarship in the fields of special education, childhood development, and child labor laws in Louisiana. The collection also includes two volumes entitled “My Commencement” in which Carmelite Janvier and her sister Josephine recorded their memories of H. Sophie Newcomb High School.

Scope and Contents The collection reflects her interest in historical writing, including her own study of the life of Henry Adams Bullard; family history (including ledgers of family businesses); and her education in New Orleans public schools, Newcomb, and LSU.

Scope and Contents This collection contains memorabilia from Edna Rosalinde Riseman Kurtz's years at Newcomb (NC 1923), as well as afterwards. It includes her class schedule, certificates and event programs, as well as personal correspondence, etchings and her graduation tassel. Also donated were publications such as Jambalaya and Under the Oaks, commencement programs, and pieces of her scrapbooks.

Scope and Contents This collection spans from the early 1950s to the mid 1990s. Most of the material consists of correspondence from Lansing to personal friends and acquaintances. Much of the correspondence is related to her work with abortion activism. The collection also includes a number of articles written by Lansing, as well as speeches and other materials related to her work as an activist.

Scope and Contents This collection consists of six typed transcriptions of the correspondence of Emily Van Dorn Miller, a Newcomb alumna, during her travel to Europe and Egypt in 1908. Letters are dated January 30, Februrary 29, June 25, July 1, and September 26.

Scope and Contents Diploma awarded to Ethel Willia Perkins upon completing her Bachelor of Arts Degree at H. Sophie Newcomb College. The diploma is signed by Brandt. V.B. Dixon, President of Newcomb College, and William Preston Johnson, President of Tulane University. A handwritten note from Dixon indicates that Perkins graduated with distinction.
