Scope and Contents
1928. An album of 63 gelatin silver photoprints taken or acquired during a voyage to South America on the S.S. American Legion. The views include the cities of Rio de Janeiro and Santos, Brazil where coffee is loaded, Montevideo, and Buenos Aires. Also present are images of gauchos, gold miners, and mountain transportation. Not all photographs are identified.
