Marie Pilkington Campbell’s research regarding the buildings accompanies the photographs. Photographs include smaller lesser known structures as well as large plantation houses.

Custodial History

Photographs were made as decorations for the office of Campbell’s son, a Baton Rouge medical doctor, ca. 1970. Campbell researched the photographs, and included historical date with each print. Photographs were given to SEAA by Campbell in the 1980s.
