Scope and Contents
Huey P. Long was the lawyer hired for this procedure by John Mulhaupt, the half-brother of Ruth Phelps Smyth and son of Nannie Mulhaupt. Mrs.Mulhaupt died in 1914. This legal document was created the same year Huey P. Long ran for his first election for the governor of Louisiana (the election took place in two rounds that year, January 15 and February 19, 1924.).
